energy, durability and structural performance requirements, the performance level of a Castelia™ product is second to

1. Solid construction: Up to 2 5/8" thick solid wooden frame and sash*, compared to the usual 1 ½". This makes
    Castelia™ windows strong and durable, extremely sound-proof, air-tight and energy efficient - plus they look more
    expensive than they really are!

2. Ventilation channels and stainless steel spacer: All our windows feature built-in ventilation channels inside
    the glazing rebates to prevent the glazing to become foggy over the years. High-grade stainless steel spacers for
    35% less heat-loss.

3. Glazing: Use of state-of-the-art energy-efficient glazing. Our U value standard is a phenomenal .22 for
    dual-glazed Argon filled units, far beyond code requirements.

4. Glass Sealant: Highly flexible and durable glass sealing, designed for climates with extreme temperatures.

5. Wood Finish: All units factory finished with what our engineers call ShieldCoat™ paint or stain finish. ShieldCoat™
    is based on a revolutionary four-level electrostatic paint technology system which doubles the lifetime of the exterior

6. Weather Sealing: Intelligently engineered weather sealing system with two sealing levels* against water/air
    infiltration; gasket positioned inside the profile so it is protected against extreme sun and heat so it lasts as long as
    the window.

7. Rainguard System: High-tech aluminum rainguard system, also available with mahogany or pine wood covering.

8. Wood: Castelia™ products are made of solid top-grade quality IFT-certified Mahogany or Scandinavian Pine wood
    from responsibly managed forests.

9. Hardware: Top-quality precision European hardware and multiple locking points.

10. Testing: Air and water infiltration performance meet strict German requirements DIN EN 12207, 12208 and 12210 -
      equal to Heavy Commercial Grade.
